# Pricing

Liccium B2B Services are usage-based. While the underlying protocols such as ISCC (ISO 24138:2024), TDM·AI and FAIA are free and open to use, Liccium charges for the services that make declarations actionable, persistent and scalable – processing, hosting, access and integration.

## Declaration processing

Declaration processing is charged per API request submitted to the Liccium Services. It includes:

* API submission;
* signature verification;
* timestamping;
* registry ingestion;
* publication.

Updates to an existing declaration – supersession, redaction or deletion – are processed and charged as declaration requests.

Batch submission of up to 2,000 declarations per API request is planned. It will substantially reduce the effective processing cost per declaration.

## Hosted declaration service

Hosted declarations are billed monthly, based on the number of declarations hosted, maintained, indexed and synchronised by the Liccium Services. Pricing is graduated in volume bands: each band is charged only for the declarations that fall within it, so the price per declaration decreases as volume grows. For very large volumes, pricing is agreed individually.

Hosting includes:

* registry operation;
* declaration storage;
* resolution of declaration metadata;
* declaration distribution;
* long-term availability.

## Minimum monthly charges

A minimum monthly charge applies separately to declaration processing and to the hosted declaration service.

## Access services

API access to the Metadata API and Search API, metadata resolution and peer-to-peer node synchronisation are offered as separate services, unless included in your agreement.

## Development and integration services

Onboarding, implementation, metadata mapping, migration, consulting and customer-specific integrations that are not included in the recurring service fees are charged at an hourly rate, based on the time spent.

### Billing and terms

* No setup or onboarding fees apply.
* Services are provided on a month-to-month basis unless otherwise agreed.
* Processing and hosting are invoiced monthly in arrears, with a usage statement showing the number of declarations processed and hosted.
* All prices are in EUR and exclude VAT and other applicable taxes.

Contact Liccium at <info@liccium.com> for a proposal based on your content volume and integration needs.

## No licensing fees for protocols

* ISCC (ISO 24138) is an open and free-to-use standard for digital content identification.
* TDM·AI is a non-proprietary protocol for declaring usage preferences, developed under open governance.
* FAIA is an open vocabulary for the disclosure of the use of AI in content creation.

Liccium charges no licensing fees for use of these protocols. Its commercial services cover infrastructure, hosting, support, integrations and registry operations.
