# Metadata API

Liccium’s Metadata API allows third-party platforms, digital services, and enterprises to directly query and integrate rights declaration metadata based on ISCC fingerprints. This API provides instant, scalable access to authoritative rights information stored in federated registries, enabling:

* Rapid and reliable content verification for third-party users and platforms.
* Efficient compliance checks regarding content usage, licensing conditions, and provenance verification at scale.
